A novelty this year is GRASPOP METAL TOWN at just 1km from the festival arena. If you’re going to have a few after the last band has left the stage but you’d still like to catch a few hours of comfortable sleep, then GRASPOP METAL TOWN is definitely the ticket! You can either spend the night in a festihut or you can bring your own motorhome.

GRASPOP METAL TOWN is a veritable open air hotel with its proper sanitary facilities, breakfast tent and reception desk. GMT is organised separately from the actual festival but access does require a voucher that’s included in the confirmation mail you will receive for your reservation. Acces to the festival arena and campsite is not included!

Access and opening times
GMT opens its doors on Thursday 24 June at 4pm and closes at noon on Monday 28 June. New arrivals are required to check in at the reception desk where you will be handed your village access pass. At the reception desk you can also collect your festihut key and breakfast vouchers and the staff will happily answer your enquiries.

How to get there
If you’re taking the shuttle bus from Mol train station to the festival you have to get off at the main entrance to the campsite and the festival arena. A 15-minute hike will take you to Graspop Metal Town.

If you’re travelling by car or motorhome just follow the ‘GRASPOP METAL TOWN’ signs.
ATTENTION: Arrival time is limited to Thursday (16h – 23h) and Friday, Saturday, Sunday (09h – 12h). Late arrivals will not have access to GMT as the road will be fenced off for security reasons. Departure is only possible on Sunday (21h – 01h) and on Monday from 08h onwards.

Car park
GMT has its own car park. Just one car is allowed per festihut and the car park voucher is included in the confirmation mail you will receive for your festihut reservation. Any additional vehicles must be parked in the public car parks in the vicinity.

Guests bringing a motorhome or (folding) caravan will receive 1 parking voucher per slot. Any additional vehicles must be left in the public car parks in the vicinity.

The breakfast tent offers a breakfast buffet between 8am and noon.

Graspop Metal Town House Rules:
Prohibited: Glass containers, camp fires, torches & candles, fire spitting, fireworks, large barbecues with gas canisters, all devices on fuel (petrol, paraffin,  burning oil, …),weapons, sharp objects (pocket knives, switchblades, etc.), spirits, drugs, pets, marquees, sound systems, power generators, wheelbarrows and shopping carts.

Allowed: small disposable barbecues, small blue camping gas cartridges (one use only), parasols, trolleys (max. width 40cm or 16”), cans and coolers.

Guests who choose to break the rules and jeopardise the safety of the other guests will be asked to vacate the premises immediately and will no longer have access to the village.

•  All huts have electricity (max. 300W)

• Max. vehicle dimensions 8,5m x 3,5m (9.3 x 3.83 yd). A few oversized pitches (PLUS 15m x 3,5m) will be available for oversized vehicles. Additional charge: 50€/pitch.
• Every pitch has electricity (max. 300W) Electricity will be available at GMT BUT you still need to bring your own extension cord with you. A normal extension cord (50m) will do.

• Only vehicles officially registered as motorhomes or (folding) caravans are allowed. Converted vehicles and estate cars are not allowed. Security personnel are authorised to deny access to any vehicle that does not answer to the above description.
• One trailer tent and/or additional tent is allowed per pitch
• Max. 6 persons per pitch
• (Folding) caravan owners must return their car to the car park after leaving their caravan at the pitch.
• Each pitch is rented for 4 nights.
• Check-in is limited to Thursday (16h – 23h) and Friday, Saturday, Sunday (09h – 12h). Late arrivals will not have access to GMT. Departure is only possible on Sunday (21h – 01h) or on Monday from 8am onwards.
• Owners who leave their motorhome or (folding) caravan behind will be fined 500€/vehicle.
