Steel Panther, Mastodon and Rise To Remain cancell their performance |

Mastodon have been forced to cancel their summer tour after guitarist Bill Kelliher was diagnosed with pancreatitis. As a result, Rise to Remain, who are currently touring with Mastodon, will also be unable to make it to the festival and will be replaced by IRON MASK. The replacement of Mastodon will be announced as soon as possible.
Steel Panther would not be playing at the festival. To make a long story short: Steel Panther’s European fans are apparently not all that important. Oh well, we’ve already found a more than suitable replacement with THE POODLES! |
Another black day in history of music |

Tragedy often strikes in threes. On 14 April, Type O Negative frontman and goth metal icon Peter Steele died of heart failure. On 16 May, legendary Rainbow/Heaven and Hell vocalist Ronnie James Dio lost his battle with stomach cancer. Now, just one week later, tragedy strikes the metal community again with the unexpected demise of Slipknot bassist Paul "The Pig" Gray. We will always look back with gratitude on the stellar GMM performances they were involved in with their respective bands. GMM would like to offer its heartfelt condolences to all of their families and friends. |
